Enable WhatsApp directly in the module settings and send WhatsApp notifications from the same compose screen you already use. When WhatsApp is enabled it sends through Twilio, and the built-in Perfex SMS gateway is not used for those messages. A dedicated WhatsApp settings page includes a built-in test sender, so you can fire a test WhatsApp and confirm everything works before going live. An optional WhatsApp delivery badges setting surfaces delivery status on your messages.
