Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reed Limited ("Themesic", "we", "us"), Web Development Services, Irakleous 2, 13673 Athens, Greece (Company Number 177479303000), collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or buy our products. We are the data controller for that data.

1.What we collect

• Newsletter - if you subscribe, your email address (and the timestamp/consent record), processed through our email provider.
• Analytics - if you consent, anonymised usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser) via Google Analytics 4, to understand and improve the site.
• Purchases - when you buy, our payment provider (acting as Merchant of Record) collects the billing and contact details needed to process the order, tax, and license; we receive order and license information, not your full card number.
• Communications - if you email us or use the contact form, the message and your contact details.
• Server logs - standard technical logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) kept briefly for security and diagnostics.

2.Cookies and analytics

We use only essential cookies by default. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) load only after you accept them in our cookie banner - we use Google Consent Mode, so until you consent no analytics cookies are set. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies/storage in your browser, which makes the banner reappear.

3.How we use your data

• to deliver the products you buy, provide updates and support, and manage licenses;
• to send the newsletter you asked for;
• to measure and improve the website (with your consent);
• to respond to your messages;
• to keep the site secure and meet legal/accounting obligations.

4.Legal bases (GDPR)

We rely on: consent (newsletter, analytics cookies); performance of a contract (processing your order and license); legitimate interests (site security, basic diagnostics, answering your enquiries); and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

5.Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors needed to run the service:

• Brevo (Sendinblue) - newsletter delivery;
• Google (Analytics 4) - website analytics, when you consent;
• Freemius - checkout, billing, tax and license delivery as Merchant of Record;
• hosting and email providers that operate the site, and authorities where the law requires it.

6.International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Google, Freemius) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by an appropriate safeguard such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

7.How long we keep it

We keep order and accounting records for as long as the law requires (typically several years), newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and analytics data for the period configured in Google Analytics. We do not keep data longer than necessary.

8.Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise any of these, email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority - in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA).

9.Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS and reputable processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

10.Children

Our products and site are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
